Carlos A. Villalobos Aceves (Charlie) is a Molchanovs W3I instructor, Wave 4 depth athlete, and founder of Dharma Freediving Academy. His career integrates four fundamental pillars: human development, sport, nature, and culture, a foundation backed by studies in Business Administration, a graduate degree in Sustainable Development and Tourism, and certifications as an Environmental Educator and Cultural Guide from the ENAH. He found in freediving the space where all of his experience and life philosophy converge. Today he is among the deepest freedivers in Mexico, with competitive experience in both the open sea and cenotes—including the Azul Freediving Challenge and two editions of Xibalba, both with podium finishes—and dedicates his work to preparing people to enter the underwater world with safety, awareness, and respect.
